The Fitting Room Files
You've Tried Underwire, Sports Bras, Expensive Brands And A Proper Fitting. A Top Bra Fitter Says Every One Was Built To Fail You.
If you peel your bra off to deep red grooves under your bust and dents carved into your shoulders, if you spill out the sides while it still squashes you flat, and if your drawer is full of "good" bras you paid a fortune for and never wear, read this before you waste another penny on a bra.

You get home, reach behind your back and wrestle with the hooks before you've even put the kettle on. The bra comes off and there they are again: red grooves under your bust, two raw dents on your shoulders. You rub them and wonder why you keep doing this to yourself.
You've not been careless. You bought the wire because it promised lift, the sports bra because it promised comfort, the pricey department-store one because surely money fixes it, and you even booked a proper fitting. Every one of those was a sensible thing to try.
So why has every single one let you down? Caroline Ashworth, who has spent 30 years in fitting rooms, says the answer isn't your body or your size. It's the way every one of those bras is built.

The Bra You'd Honestly Rather Not Wear At All
Caroline hears it every week. A woman in her sixties, a DD or an F or a G, stands in the fitting room and says quietly, "To be honest, I'd rather go without."
She means it. By two o'clock the band has rolled up under her bust. The straps have slid, so she yanks them back up. She's spilling out at the sides, yet somehow she still looks flat. Her shoulders ache, her upper back aches, and the fitted top she bought for a niece's wedding is still in the wardrobe with the tags on.
"They think they're the problem," Caroline says. "Too big, too old, too awkward a shape. They're not."
Every Bra You Tried Fixed One Thing And Broke Another
Look at the list honestly. Underwire gave you shape and put a strip of steel into your ribs. Sports bras stopped the bounce and squashed you into one long uni-boob. The expensive brand cost three times as much and was the same thin band and the same thin straps, just with nicer lace.
The professional fitting felt like the answer. And then she handed you a thinner band, a smaller size and a row of hooks your stiff fingers now fight every morning.
Wireless bralettes? Lovely for an hour. Then you catch yourself sideways in a shop window and see where everything has gone.
Five different bras, one shared flaw. None of them was built for a full bust.

The Hidden Cause: Your Whole Bust Hangs Off Two Thin Straps
Here's what Caroline explains with her tape measure. A full DD to G bust can weigh several pounds. Almost every bra on the high street hangs that weight from two straps barely a centimetre wide and a band a couple of centimetres deep.
All that weight has nowhere to go but down. So the straps cut grooves into your shoulders. The thin band digs a red line under your bust and rides up your back, creating rolls. With nothing at the sides, you spill out. With the weight sagging forward, you look flat.
"It was never your size. It's a load problem," she says. "Spread the weight across wide straps, full sides and a wide back, and the pain has nowhere to start."

Meet The Bra With No Wire, No Hooks And No Clasps
The ShapeChic™ Original Bra is the one Caroline now hands to fuller-bust women who've given up.
The straps are wide and cushioned, so the load sits across your shoulders instead of slicing into one line. Full side panels scoop you in and up, so nothing escapes under your arms. One wide back panel lies flat and smooths the rolls a thin band creates. There's no steel anywhere.
And there are no hooks. You pull it on over your head like a vest. No reaching behind your back, no fumbling with stiff fingers, no bending a wire back into place. The soft, stretchy fabric moves with you from the morning walk to the evening telly.

Put It Side By Side With The Bra In Your Drawer
Lay your old bra next to it and the difference is obvious before you try it on. Your old strap is a ribbon. These straps are cushioned and wide. Your old band is a strip. This back is a panel.
Then put it on. Caroline's clients notice the shoulders first: the dragging feeling eases because the weight isn't hanging from one thin line. Then the sides: smooth under a fitted top, no bulge. Then the mirror: lifted and shaped, not flattened.
At the end of the day, take it off and look. No red trench under the bust. No dents carved into your shoulders. That's the test that matters, and it's the one every other bra failed.

Wearing Fitted Tops Again, Forgetting You've Even Got A Bra On
This is what Caroline's clients tell her they get back. Getting dressed in two minutes instead of a wrestling match. Pulling on that fitted jumper or the wrap dress that's been hiding in the wardrobe, and liking what's in the mirror.
A full day out, lunch, a wander round the shops, the grandchildren on your lap, without that moment around mid-afternoon when you'd give anything to unhook it.
And for the first time in years, forgetting you've got a bra on at all. Not because you've gone without, but because this one simply isn't hurting you.

Stop Paying For Bras That Live In The Drawer
Think about the drawer. The wired ones, the pricey one, the one from the fitting. Add up what's in there and it's a painful number, all spent on bras built to hang a full bust off two thin straps.
This is the last time you need to gamble. Today it's Buy 1, Get 2 FREE, so three bras for the price of one, with free delivery and a 30-day money-back guarantee. If it isn't the most comfortable bra you own, send it back.
Worried about fit? The fabric stretches with you, sizes run S to 4XL, and the size chart works from your measurements, not a label that's failed you before.

What People Are Saying
“I'm a 40G and honestly I'd stopped bothering with bras at home. Tried this mainly cos it was 3 for 1. No dents on my shoulders after a whole day out. First time in years.”
“No hooks! My hands are bad with arthritis now and I just pull it over my head. Lovely.”
“I'd had the full fitting at a big store, paid a lot, and still had that red line under my boobs every night. This one doesn't dig in at all. Wore my black fitted jumper to a do on Saturday and felt smart for once. Bit of a snug pull on the first go but it gives.”
“Was worried about the size so went off the chart, took an XL, spot on. Arrived tracked in about 9 days. No spilling out the sides which was always my problem.”
“Back's not aching by the afternoon like it used to. Ordered more for my sister.”

Does it actually lift though? Every wireless one I've had just flattens me.
@Carol it does, the sides pull you in and up. Not a push-up but I've got a shape again, wasn't expecting that at 64.
I'm a 4XL and 46GG, usually nothing fits. This did. Bit snug first wear then fine.
Took 11 days to come but it was well packed and tracked the whole way.
Nearly didn't bother, I've wasted so much on bras. The 30 days back made me try it. Kept all three.
Wide back panel is the bit for me, no rolls showing under my t-shirt anymore.
