How to Choose Your ShapeChic Original Bra Size
Match a bra that fits comfortably to our supplier-based guide. The size shown is the size to order.
A familiar S, M or L can mean a different fit in another brand. The Original Bra guide maps specific band-and-cup combinations to the ShapeChic size you order.
We have updated this guide to follow the supplier chart and our current fulfilment mapping. Use the band and cup label of a bra that fits you comfortably, together with the sizing system printed on that label.
Here is how to use the guide, what the factory label means, and when to ask us for help.
Start With a Bra That Fits Comfortably
Check its label for the sizing system, band and cup. A size such as 38DD is a band-and-cup label; S or L on a top is not enough to select a bra size.
If your current bra digs in, spills, gaps or rides up, its label may not be a useful starting point. Ask us for help before ordering.
Choose the Correct Sizing System
The guide has US/Canada, UK, EU, Australia/New Zealand, France/Spain, and Italy views. Pick the system on your bra label, even if it differs from your location.
For example, the guide converts EU 85E to US/UK 38DD, AU/NZ 16DD, FR/ES 100E and IT 4E. These all lead to ShapeChic XL. Cup letters above D are not interchangeable across systems or brands.
Enter Both the Band and the Cup
Use the Original Bra size guide with the label of a bra that fits you comfortably. Select its sizing system, band and cup, then order the ShapeChic size shown. The sizing adjustment is already included; do not add another size. If your combination is not listed or your current bra fits poorly, contact us before ordering.
The supplier lists specific combinations. A band appearing in the guide does not mean every cup at that band is covered.
Order the Size Shown
The one-step factory sizing adjustment is already built into your recommendation. Do not add another size after using the guide.
A ShapeChic S currently ships with a factory M label; M with L; L with XL; XL with 2XL; XXL with 3XL; 3XL with 4XL; and 4XL with 5XL. A different factory label alone does not mean you received the wrong order size.
When the Guide Cannot Recommend a Size
If your exact combination is not listed, contact us before ordering. Choosing 4XL just because it is the largest size may still leave the band or cups unsuitable.
The weight ranges are rough supplier references, not a way to determine cup fit. There are no verified underbust or full-bust measurement ranges in this chart, and we cannot guarantee fit from a label alone.
Check the Fit When Your Bra Arrives
The band should sit comfortably and stay in place, and the cups should contain your bust without spilling or obvious gaps. The straps should not dig into your shoulders.
A band riding up, cups spilling, or uncomfortable pressure needs a fit check; each does not automatically mean that you need a larger size. Contact us with your order size and what you notice.
Get Help With an Uncomfortable Fit
Do not rely on washing or stretching to correct an uncomfortable fit. Follow the care instructions on the garment, and contact us if it does not feel right.
If you are reordering a ShapeChic size that already fits you comfortably, keep that size. If your previous order did not fit, ask us to review it before ordering more.

What People Are Saying
“Between M and L, took the L like the page says. Firm day one, no red marks that night.”
“almost didn't order because I'd already paid 69 for a Honeylove that fit fine and I couldn't see paying that three times over. this one runs snug like she says. I was dead on the line between two sizes and went up. right call. band is firm not tight, straps aren't pulling on me at all. the 4 stars is because the straps sit a little wider on my shoulders than I'd like, I've got narrow shoulders and I'm still figuring that out. delivery was quicker than I expected, five days to Michigan.”
“Ordered my usual 36C like an idiot, skipped the sizing part completely. Band crept up my back before lunch, red line by dinner, I was furious. EDIT: replied to the order email that night. Emma answered herself the next morning, asked which size I had and what it was doing, and sent the size up for free. Told me to keep the small one. Nobody asked me to mail anything back. The bigger one fits how it's supposed to, firm, flat across the back, and I haven't touched it since 7am. This deserves 5 stars. The 1 is on me for not measuring and I'm leaving it so the next person reads that part.”
“on my feet 10 hours a shift at the hospital and by the end of a day my old bra had a groove dug in under each arm. sized up per the chart, been in these every shift for 6 weeks now. no groove. the band settled after the first wash and it's a little softer against my ribs than day one, which I like. had to order the lingerie bag separately, didn't own one”
“Bought my sister the 3 pack after mine came. She measured over FaceTime with me. Took the larger one too.”
