Love Sloggi Zero Feel but Need More Lift? 5 Alternatives Ranked After 6 Weeks of Wear
Sloggi Zero Feel makes you choose: no digging but no lift, or lift with a band that bites. One pull-on bra gave our 47 testers real lift, a smooth back and nothing digging in, for less per bra than any other pick.

I’m a 38G and I’ve fitted full-busted women for 11 years. When Sloggi Zero Feel comes up, I hear the same sentence almost every week: “I love how it feels, but it does nothing for my boobs.” No digging, yes. No red marks, yes. But within an hour everything has sunk to her waistband, and after a few months in the wash the fabric has gone slack.
Zero Feel does exactly what the name says. It feels like nothing. The trouble is that for a D cup and up, it also holds you up about as well as nothing. A bralette built to disappear wasn’t built to lift, and a lot of the bras sold as “Zero Feel dupes” copy the softness and skip the support.
So we did it properly. We bought 30 pull-on and wire-free bras sold across the US, UK, Canada and Australia and gave them to 47 women aged 32 to 58, from DD to H cup. Everyone wore every finalist through ordinary days: desk days, school runs, long drives, gym warm-ups, hot flushes, a family wedding and one 14-hour flight.
Twenty-five bras were out in the first round. Here are the five that made it, ranked, and the one our testers refused to give back.
How we tested and scored
Every bra was scored out of 10 on four things Zero Feel fans told us matter most. We used side-profile photos, back photos, end-of-day skin checks and testers’ own diaries.
Real lift for fuller busts
We measured bust height in side-profile photos at 8am and 6pm. Bras lost points if the bust sat low, sagged through the day or squashed into one shape across the chest.
No digging or red marks
Testers checked their ribs, shoulders and under-bust at bedtime. Red grooves, a rolling band, straps cutting in or anything poking cost points.
Pull-on, no hooks
Can you put it on in seconds with stiff shoulders or sore hands? Hooks, fiddly straps and twisting when pulled on all lost points.
Smooth back
Back photos were taken in a fitted jersey top. Bras lost points for bra bulge, rolls over the band or lines showing through.

ShapeChic™ Original Bra
Best for: Zero Feel fans with a D cup or bigger who want lift without the dig

ShapeChic was the only bra in our test that scored above 9 on all four criteria. It keeps what Zero Feel fans love: you pull it over your head, there are no hooks and nothing digs. Then it adds the thing Sloggi can’t. It actually lifts you.
The build is what does it. Instead of a thin stretchy tube, it uses side panels that bring the bust in and up, wide cushioned straps that share the weight across your shoulders, and one broad soft panel across the back where most bras have a thin band that cuts in and pushes up rolls. There’s no underwire anywhere, so nothing pokes your ribs at 4pm.
The side-profile photos settled it. Compared with Zero Feel on the same tester, ShapeChic sat the bust visibly higher on 41 of 47 women, and at 6pm it was still there. Testers in fitted tops kept saying the same thing: their waist showed again. One H-cup tester said she looked two dress sizes smaller in her work blouse. In back photos, the bra bulge was gone on 39 testers.
What it doesn’t have is Sloggi’s total invisibility. The front is a sunburst floral lace over an opaque lining, so under a thin, skin-tight T-shirt you may see a hint of texture that a flat microfibre bralette wouldn’t show. Our testers mostly called that a fair trade for the lift, and the lining meant no nipple show-through.
It comes in a full size range up to plus sizes, and today it’s on Buy 1, Get 2 FREE, which makes it the cheapest per bra of every pick here. With more than 16,500 reviews at 4.92 out of 5, it’s the bra most of our panel went and bought for themselves once the test ended.
“I wore Zero Feel for three years because nothing else was comfy. This feels just as easy to pull on, but my boobs are actually up where they belong. My husband asked if I’d lost weight.”

Sloggi Zero Feel Bralette
Best for: smaller busts who want to feel nothing at all

Credit where it’s due: nothing in our test disappeared under clothes like Zero Feel. The flat, matte fabric left no lines at all, even under a ribbed knit, and testers had no red marks at bedtime.
The problem is lift. On our DD-plus testers, the bust sat lower within an hour and lower still after hours of wear, and several described it as “holding nothing.” The removable pads crumpled and shifted after a few washes, and by week five the band and cups on half our samples had visibly stretched out.
What we loved
- Truly invisible under fitted tops
- No digging or red marks
- Easy pull-on
Where it fell short
- Little lift for D cups and up
- Pads shift and fold in the wash
- Stretches out, and costs more per bra than today’s #1 deal
Bottom line: Brilliant if you’re a smaller cup. If you need lift, it’s the bra you’re here to replace.
Compare with our #1 pickUniqlo Wireless Bra (3D Hold)
Best for: a clean T-shirt silhouette on a budget

The moulded cups give the cleanest, roundest T-shirt line of any rival, and the hold is light but real. For the price, testers were impressed.
Then came sizing. Uniqlo’s combined sizes left 18 testers gapping at the cup or squeezed at the band, and it fastens with hooks, so it’s not a true Zero Feel swap. Fuller sizes are limited, and the narrow band rolled on testers with a softer back.
What we loved
- Smooth moulded T-shirt shape
- Light, comfortable hold
- Easy to find in store
Where it fell short
- Combined sizing leaves cups gapping
- Hook back, not pull-on
- Limited plus sizes, and costs more per bra than today’s #1 deal
Bottom line: A great T-shirt bra if the sizing happens to fit you. For fuller busts it often doesn’t.
Compare with our #1 pickSkims Fits Everybody Crossover Bralette
Best for: lounging and smaller cups

The fabric is gorgeous. Buttery, stretchy and soft enough that several testers slept in it. The crossover neckline was the prettiest of any rival.
But it’s thin. Nipples showed through on almost every tester, and above a D cup there simply wasn’t enough structure. With no adjustable straps and a narrow band, it did nothing to smooth the back.
What we loved
- Buttery soft fabric
- Flattering crossover neckline
- Easy pull-on
Where it fell short
- Thin fabric shows nipples
- Little structure for full busts
- Straps don’t adjust, and costs more per bra than today’s #1 deal
Bottom line: Lovely for lounging. Not the support upgrade a Zero Feel fan is looking for.
Compare with our #1 pickM&S Flexifit Non-Wired Bra
Best for: smooth back wings at a high-street price

The wide back wings genuinely smooth, and in back photos Flexifit came second only to our winner. It’s soft against skin and good value.
The band runs small, so many testers sized up and then lost support. Straps slipped off shoulders through the day, the padding felt bulky to several, and it fastens with hooks rather than pulling on.
What we loved
- Smooth back wings
- Soft against the skin
- Easy to buy on the high street
Where it fell short
- Band runs small
- Straps slip during the day
- Hook fastening, and costs more per bra than today’s #1 deal
Bottom line: Good at smoothing, but it loses the pull-on ease and the lift you came for.
Compare with our #1 pickWhat to look for in a Sloggi Zero Feel alternative
If you love Zero Feel’s comfort but need more, these five things matter. Only our #1 had all of them.
Side panels that lift
Lift without wire comes from structure at the sides that brings the bust in and up. A plain stretch tube can’t do it.
A true pull-on design
No hooks, no clasps. If you chose Zero Feel for ease, don’t give it up for a back fastening.
Wide, cushioned straps
Thin straps cut grooves into your shoulders once a full bust has weight to carry. Wide ones spread it.
A broad back panel
One wide panel stops the band digging in and pushing up rolls, so fitted tops lie flat.
Fabric that keeps its shape
Stretch that holds after weeks of washing, and a lining you can’t see through.
What readers say after switching
Reviews from women who swapped from Zero Feel and other soft bras.
Lift at last
Zero Feel was comfy but I was round my middle by noon. This keeps me up all day and still feels soft.
No more back bulge
First bra in years that doesn’t make rolls under my fitted tops. The back panel is a game changer.
No hooks with my shoulder
Frozen shoulder means hooks are a nightmare. I pull this on in seconds and it actually supports me.
Mine didn’t stretch out
My Sloggis went baggy within months. These have been through the wash for weeks and still hold.
Shoulders feel lighter
Wide straps, no grooves. Arrived tracked and well packed. I bought the six.
Pretty and supportive
I didn’t want a beige brick. The lace is lovely and nothing shows through. Bought for my sister too.
