How we tested and scored
Each finalist was worn for at least five full days by every tester, then scored out of 10 on four criteria. The overall score is the average.

Best for: looking neater, if you don’t mind a wire
Wacoal’s Visual Effects Minimizer is a polished bra that does what it says. It makes a full bust look neater under blouses, and in our front photos it was one of the sleekest finalists.
The catch is the wire. Testers over 50 marked it down hard for digging, it compressed more than it lifted, and at around $70 for one bra it’s the priciest pick on this list.
